  2. Okay, I'm the last person who would defend Fox, but there is a world of difference between a prime-time telecast on a broadcast network and a basic cable news program that airs at 2 AM. Different standards apply to each, regardless of who owns the channels. At the same time, Fields' speech could just have been bleeped instead of cut off completely. Of course, these days she should just be happy they didn't get out their tazers.

  3. When this moron at the Kerry speech started jumping around and pushing his body against campus security he deserved getting tasered. The guy was being removed and he resisted... this is obviously not a 100 pound guy. Why should everyone else who was participating productively in this meeting have to wait 20 minutes for this guy to decide or for security to gently usher him out? He deserved the volts.
