  1. Just spoke with my friend in Sweden who's wife was in the choir for the Liza shows in Gothenburg:

Him: "She's got first hand info on how Liza fell of the stage, was so drunk or strung out on pills or whateva that she couldn't stand up on her own. That Carola person that Liza teamed up with is one of these creepy religious persons...real scary!"

Me:Who the hell is Carola? Isn't that a crayon??

Him: Carola was like 15 when she won the Eurovision Song Contest here in Sweden, came second in the big finals....child star thing...she's like 40 now and is scary as hell. They charged people hilarious sums of money for the good seats, and people left halfway through the concert...people were boooing and there almost was a riot...people wanted their money back!"

Me: I would have stayed for the whole show! It sounds priceless!

  2. Why is it the countries with the most beautiful men have all this anti-gay bullshit going on. Morocco, Egypt, Nigeria, Senegal, Iraq, Palestine (well, what should be Palestine), etc. I wonder how they treat us in Tunisia? Maybe I'll go there. You can't get one over here by mail order. Everybody's afraid they'll blow somethin' up.

  5. Get well Liza!

And, the Morocco thing just seems kind odd, since I know quite a few European men who flock there and right, or wrong since some I think pay for it, have nonstop sex with the men there. It seems that in the more "liberal" Muslim places they know men are having sex with men, but, then all of a sudden they go after them? It would be good to get some input from gay Arab men on this issue if any post here.

  9. I was really hoping that after this wing nut group failed to get enough signatures for this ballot initiative the first time they would fail a second time, but it looks like my state is going to be the next battleground over this issue. I really wish these people would get through their heads that gay marriage is an issue of civil and equal rights but when you're dealing with religious zealots what can you expect? I do have to confess to feeling a little disappointed that they never approached me to sign one of their stupid petitions. I was hoping to cause a little mischief by signing it Jacquilene Meoff and giving my address as 1313 Mockingbird Lane. If there's anything I can do down here to help defeat this thing I will.

  11. Maybe Liza's role as vertigo-stricken Lucille 2 took its toll.
