[[Photo removed at request of Paramount Pictures]]

Ever think you'd see Brad Pitt looking like E.T.?

This wrinkly newborn may be the closest you get. Pitt is starring in the David Fincher film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button about a man who is born elderly and ages backward. At 50 he falls in love and must deal with the consequences aging backward have on the relationship.

At each stage of his life, including infancy, the character must look like Pitt, so the filmmakers have found a way to CG Pitt's features onto the baby.

Of course, Pitt eventually turns into:

  4. HAHAHAHA. I'm so disturbed right now but #2 comment has settled me a little. I know the whole progeria thing isn't funny but that's a great little comment. This sounds like a great concept for a film. I hope they don't fuck it up.

  5. It's bad to see Brad Pitt looking ugly (quite a stretch.) I read the book and found it boring, so I hope the movie is better.

  7. Brad Pitt can hit me from behind any time, place or location. I would even forgive him his neglect to whack me off with a wrap-around.

  10. Jordan,

Progeria is a rare genetic disease which causes unnaturally rapid aging- a child of ten with the condition can look like a tiny little 80-year old. Kids with the condition rarely live past their early teens, as their body is equivalent to that of someone in their late nineties to a century by then...

  11. No way. That is freaky!

Looks like that would be in the news or something...Can't believe I've never heard of it...

If it's so rare, then how can all you guys have heard of it?

  12. Jordan,
Back in the 70s and 80s, Progeria was the disorder du jour, kinda like ADD or nut allergies are today, so we heard a lot more about it back then.
