  1. Anyone else find the cornstarch-and-water video more interesting than the Tim Gunn interview? That was four minutes of my life (yes, four; I couldn't bear to watch all six) I'll never get back. Styling tips are the most boring topics o' conversation EVER.

  2. LOL Chas! Yes indeed, but Tim Gunn is pretty damn fun to watch on Project Runway at least.

And that cornstarch number...how'd ya like to see THAT on your chicken fried steak at the Black-Eyed Pea?!

  3. I think we have "the magic of editing" to thank for making him seem interesting on PR, my dear FIZZIEPOP.

  4. HAAAHAHAH!

Wouldn't it be great to have that little bit of magic available at your fingertips for everyone? LMAO.

  5. Why is Kucinich the only brave man in America? He speaks the truth about Bush. It's documented. It's provable For God's sake Clinton was impeached for lying about an affair. Nixon over some tapes. Bush has committed so many more high crimes than is even mentioned in this speech (which Kucinich has talked about in public). George W. Bush should be impeached and he and his buddies should face international war crimes. Will it happen? Will it happen before they attack Iran? Not with our Congress...It's a pathetic shame. It makes me ill.

  9. tell me about it pugzz, the prosecutor of the world's first permanent war crimes tribunal will seek an arrest warrant Monday charging Sudan's president with crimes against humanity and genocide in Darfur. Hell, the Shrub is guilty of all that and a hell of a lot more.

  10. Kucinich...that was amazing...get that evil Bush!! And hardly a mention from you homos here about this very important video piece...oh, fashion was more important,eh?

  11. Kucinich is a brave servant of the people, Pelosi should be voted out of office, I hope Cindy Sheehan beats her this fall.

Though this will go no where, at least Bush is gone less than 6 MONTHS!!!!!

As for TIM GUNN, please someone shoot him. I only listened to the first question before driving a screwdriver into my ear. Mind you I love a good Queen, just not a boring pompous one.

  12. I don't find Tim Gunn pompous at all. He's well spoken, has a huge audience (gay and straight), and everyone in fashion is superficial---it's the nature of the beast.

But my views on him might be colored by my pity/empathy for him, knowing that he hasn't had a boyfriend (or apparently even sex) in 25 years because his last relationship hurt him so badly. I can relate, though I hope not to isolate myself for 25 years.

And Bleepers, some people might have preferred fashion or dancing or cornstarch (which was riveting) because arguing for impeachment at this point is a lost cause. There's not enough time to do it (remember how long it dragged out for Clinton, essentially grinding Congress to a halt? that might be nice under a Repub Congress, but not now) and the Dems just want to focus on winning the election. An impeachment, as deserved as it is, would be a distraction that achieved little. Should have happened two years ago.

At least here is San Francisco we've gathered enough signatures for a ballot initiative to memorialize Bush in a fitting way. The ballot, if passed (which it almost certainly will be), will rename the city's sewage plant the George W. Bush Sewage Plant. Fitting, eh?

  14. The astonishing lack of spine among Democratic representatives and senators is at least offset by the few with courage, character and true integrity, all the qualities that Bush lacks entirely. Good for Kucinich, albeit as Paul R says a little late, he has been fighting to get this passed, the rest of Congress has just never grown any balls and supported him.

If they lose the election (God forbid!) in November, it's because they were simply too pathetic (and spineless) to achieve what is being handed to them on a platter. And you know what? I am still worried that they might. Pathetic! Sad! And they are the ones that we CAN and SHOULD vote for!? Ugh!
