Ryan Reynolds Gets Down to Skin for Entertainment Weekly
Ryan Reynolds fans will be happy to know that Entertainment Weekly has given him four goofy covers this week for its summer "Must List" issue.
"When asked if he's comfortable as a sex symbol, Reynolds sighs. 'If you take any of that seriously, you need to be euthanized, ASAP,' he says. 'There are moments when you can use that to your advantage. But it's really embarrassing. I think I fear more than anything just sounding like a complete a--hole when I have to answer that question.'"

Too bad he's probably the least funny "leading man" I've ever seen. Too self-aware, too muggy... great bod, sucky acting skills. Hasn't made a decent movie.

unless a man is a professional athlete, he can't look that beautiful without working at it. for him to eschew the sex-symbol rubric sounds disingenuous. still, he is lovely to look at, smart, sexy, and he is gay friendly.
all in all, i had no idea he had such an astonishing body. which leaves me to wonder, who is the luckier, him or scarlet(sp?). whatevs, they're going to have genetically gifted babies. good on him (them). we need all our friends.

Way too lean, he was nice and beefy before. Oh, and really not a good actor. And his voice? really wimpy, dare I say sissy?! And he was dating the mighty Alannis Morrisette!

i feel kinda bad for that chase crawford guy who's on the people "sexiest bachelors" issue this week... and, seriously--4 covers? seems option #1 would have sufficed to stir the loins of America? but what a great way to "stimulate" newsstand sales.

OMG, he is one sexy motherf**ker.
I like his persona, not acting per se, but that is not any different than many "celebrity" actors that mostly just play themselves. I have always found him appealing, but not enough to keep me glued to "Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place", or Wolverine. I will definitely go see him in The Proposal.
I also prefer the very lean hairy look, it is much more natural than the bulk he has put on in the past.
