Paris Hilton Called Out by Drag Queen, Booed at Gay Club in Milan

There was momentary confusion and a lot of booing at the Borgo del Tempo Perso club in Milan where Paris Hilton appeared last night. The event was called Join the Gap, and was organized by the gay rights group Arcigay.

After being asked by a drag queen if she would hold up a sign the said "No Homophobia" and she appeared to refuse or misunderstand, instead calling for the music to begin, she was roundly booed by the audience.

She later agreed to hold the sign, and everything was better again.

Gays in Italy have recently been targeted by homophobic violence. Hundreds protested earlier this month in Rome after bomb attacks in the city's gay district.

Watch Hilton's appearance, AFTER THE JUMP...

  1. Why is this walking STD invited to gay events?

  5. She thought the sign would stop trolls from climbing into the sewer between her legs.

  6. Sometimes we are nothing but a joke. This is one of those times.

  7. @Davie199: People actually go to see her? It sounds to me like this was something people would have come to anyway. I mean, I would show up and perhaps sell my car to get into an event where you get to throw rotten fruit at her, but to actually want to see her or hear what she has to say? That's sad.

  8. Hasn't she been known to make a few homophobic slurs herself? I don't understand what the gay community sees in her when there are so many other celebrities who are pro gay and who actually have something to contribute to the world other than STDs.

  9. When the morons that run Christopher Street West (the West Hollywood/L.A. Gay Pride Parade) asked Paris Hilton to be the Grand Marshall of the parade 3 or 4 years ago, she accepted...and then refused to do interviews with the gay press. She sent her mother to do them instead. Not long after that, a video surfaced of Paris and Nikki dancing at a private party calling other guests "faggot" and saying, of themselves, "We're like niggers." I have no use for Paris Hilton. She is a parasite...maybe that is her new name: Parisite Hilton.

  10. Perhaps she initially refused because it was not in the agreement. This was, afterall, a PAID personal appearance, was it not?

  11. Oh, yay! Paris Hilton for no homophobia. Wow, that'll help a lot, because people take her soooooooo seriously.

  12. @Trontron: I agree....and have been saying so since last week , why do we have to suffer Mormon bigots ads on this site ? Their money is blood stained .

  13. What's the deal with the Mormon ads? Who cares? I imagine not too many people who visit this site often take the time to read those ads but it is income and helps pay the bills. If you're so concerned with their ads, why don't you personally send in a check for that revenue then perhaps they can be dropped.

  14. Fellas, don't you know? Mormon boys absolutely make some of THE best and HOTTEST gay boys in the world!

I know for a fact because I've done like 5 of them in the past year.

Have none of you seen the movie Latter Days?

Of course they're gonna have ads on a gay site.... LOL
