LI Gay Basher: 'God Made Me Hate Gay People'
One man has been arrested for an anti-gay attack on two men that happened early Sunday morning in Lakeview, New York, WPIX reports:
"The two victims, one who was dressed up in drag for Halloween, were walking on Woodfield Road near Janos Ave. at around 1:50 a.m. when they were approached by a car being driven by a woman with three men inside.
The three men, one who has been identified as 23-year-old Robert Bellamy Jr. of Lakeview, exited the vehicle and surrounded the victims who were on their way home from a Halloween party.
Bellamy is accused of punching one of the victims in the face and then, along with the two other suspects, punched the second victim in the head, knocking him to the ground and calling him a 'faggot' during the assault, police said.
While the victim was on the ground, all three suspects reportedly kicked him in the stomach and stole $7 from his pockets before fleeing the scene.
The suspects initially spotted the two men at a gas station where they hurled anti-gay remarks at them, Nassau Police Commissioner Lawrence Mulvey said."
Said Bellamy to police: "God made me hate gay people."
The victims were brought to the hospital, treated, and released.

Why do we always target the conservatives/NOM//etc when most (if not almost all) of the hate crimes are being committed by black thugs?

Because when a nonwhite says or does something homophobic, anyone who points it out is automatically accused of racism.

So why weren't there protests outside of black churches as with Mormon and Catholic churces after Prop 8 passed?

2007 FBI Hate Statistics
An analysis of data for victims of single-bias hate crime incidents showed that:
52.0 percent of the victims were targeted because of the offender’s bias against a race (69.3 percent were victims of an offender’s anti-black bias).
15.9 percent were targeted because of a bias against a particular sexual orientation.
Both categories are greatly under reported.
Homophobia sucks but no more so than racism. Sometimes I hate coming to this site but still I rise...

It's troubling seeing so many stories come out of NEW YORK. It feels as though that state has churned out more anti gay incidents, many violent, in recent memory than most of the South combined.
As a ethnic minority myself, yes, there is a large portion of ethnic groups that harbor homophobia. My Latin, Middle Eastern and Black gay brothers and sisters get so defensive when we speak of it. They'd rather not even acknowledge it, yet they themselves love calling a white gay person out for being a racist- or calling Southern Republicans backwards, bigoted....that doesn't heal the bigotry within our communities that DOES exist. Especially within the male population in these ethnic demographics. Instead, of defending the perpetrators in these stories, and painting them as victims of racial stereitypes they themselves have lived up to...go out in your communities and educate. I've seen of Lebanese homophobes who've tried to attack me and my friends for being gay. When those gay friends made racial remarks about the homophobes (who happened to share the same background as me) I shook my head and asked them to stop but didn't take it personally as I knew that disdain stemmed from much hate from THAT group.
It's sad to see so many people of color (latin, black, middle eastern) defend a gay basher that shares the same color as them, while they go and bash a community that hurting. The gay community IS fed up of crap like this. A few "thugs" and observations of the ethnic makeup of these attackers is now a reason to say gays deserve this? What do you all want? for the gay community just skip, whistle and kiss on our merry ways everytime someones bashes us? In the heat of the moment, a c*nt, thug, skinhead, bigot does come flying out of our mouth and after years of being treated like this...I'd say the gay community is well adjusted.
We can't go after religion because it's not right. We can't call white bigots backward because it's insulting. We can't say Latino gang members our notoriousley homophobic and VIOLENT about it, because it's not politically correct, we can't say we expect more from the black community who always preaches about the civil rights era to practice a bit of civilty because we're racist pigs, we can't say Islam promotes a sense of intolerance toward anything different from it ESPECIALLY gays (my whole mom, dad, family being from Islam)...the only community the gay community has the balls to bash is ourselves. We call each other racist if we don't want to f8ck every human being of every single race. We're shallow and preverted if we engage in the same amount of sex as straights do. And we can't even bash the people who attack our brothers/sisters on the streets on our own blogs without getting bashed about it (by gays)...
Seriously, the PC gang has cut the legs of the movement.

Where's the link for those statistics you quoted? I can't find them.
MOST inter-racial assaults are black on white, even though there are far more white people than black.
MOST crime is INTRA-racial, that is perp and victim are the same race. But again, when violent crime is Inter-racial, the majority is black perp, white victim.
Black males commit violent crime are a rate much higher than any other demographic. Black males are actually responsible for a majority of violent crime, especially gun crime, in urban areas, which is where most crime, especially violent crime and gun violence, is committed.
I didn't say anything RACIST; it's not racist 'Theory', it's FACT. It upsets some people who prefer everybody STFU on this subject.

Really, how much effort does it take to type "FBI" and "hate crimes" into the Google?
I did it in five seconds and pulled up the statistics for 2007. They're exactly as Giovanni said. You can even download the tables of the victims and offenders by race. So, it comes down to whether I should trust the federal government or the the fact that your claim that most hate crime perpetrators are black is written in capital letters. Because yelling something often enough certainly makes it true.
