Bar Raid Charges of Atlanta Eagle Employees Dismissed by Judge

Charges by Atlanta Police against eight employees of the Atlanta Eagle stemming from a controversial bar raid that took place in September were dismissed by a judge yesterday, who said there was not enough evidence to declare them guilty of anything, FOX5 reports:

"The four employees and four dancers of the midtown bar were accused of violating several city ordinances. The employees and dancers were arrested in September 2009 and charged with providing adult entertainment without a city permit. The raid involved more than a dozen police officers, including some in plain clothes."

  2. What an idiot Atlanta reporter...typical FOX news type...misquoting the time when the Eagle ATL bar was raided. Six months ago to the day....DUH...not a year ago today.

You even said the right time, six months ago to the day earlier in your report.

Typical FOX news reporter...ugh...unskilled, bad memory, jittery voice, unprofessional, no on camera presence. Anyone directing or coaching in her ear or what?

Yawn......get your facts right. Than talk!

  4. So that was another waste of taxpayers money... and another night when the police could have been catching murderers and rapists.

Let's hope the bar patrons/owners win their case against the GA po-po...
