  1. Bummer... couldn't open the Christian Siriano clip, but found it on the Bravo website!

  2. Since when is the word "genius" a "catch phrase?"

    Posted by: Matt | Mar 4, 2010 4:25:14 PM

  3. Please, can someone explain the Siriano phenomena? He has no talent and a personality like nails raking across a chalkboard. Or is that all it takes these days?

Also thanks Matt — and since when have the other two selections been catch phrases either?

Sigh… I feel like I was born in the 19th century.

  4. While i feel very badly for the osmonds, I too believe that the young man committed Suicide due to the repressive and unhealthy attitude of the Mormons toward their GLBT membership! I've know too many "Former" mormons who have "Survived" being Mormon. When a young person in a strict Mormon family commits suicide you can bet it is over their personal identity!

  5. That San Diego murder story is all sorts of fucked up. Wasn't there another guy drugging gay men at bars in Hillcrest?

  6. thanks for including Ryan McGee's story about my site; Towleroad has been on my links bar since day one and I am honored to be mentioned here.

  7. The gay NASCAR Fan phenomena is nothing new. Last year we did a story in COMPETE magazine on, a website for gay and lesbian NASCAR fans. Good to know about though.

  8. Some of your Towleroad readers are gay NASCAR fans as well. I am one. I grew up in the South so maybe it is easier for me to see it as a sport, but I love it. I think if more gay men got a good look at the men behind the wheel, they'd agree. There are some real hotties in NASCAR -- like my driver, Kasey Kahne. :)

  9. Re: the Vatican prostitution scandal. I think I'd like to meet this "Angelo" guy!

  10. Gay nascar fans prove that intellect and homosexuality are not genetically linked. We've got our trash, too! Hoooooray for the status quo.

  11. I don't doubt the virulent homophobe Jason Kenney removed the references to gays in the immigration pamphlet. The sooner we get rid of this government the better.

  12. Wow Tank, nice of you to pre-judge. There are many ill informed stereotypes of gays - and NASCAR fans alike. NASCAR fans are accepting of me being gay - so why can't you be understanding of gays who are NASCAR fans..... without insulting them. "Understanding" is a two way street.

  13. Adam Lambert is going to be at Sydney Mardi Gras, too. So that means Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert and Amanda Lepore are going to be there. That will be one hell of a party.

  14. Don't bother, Michael. Tank is our resident troll who leaves contrarian comments on every post just to get a rise out of people. Most everyone around here has learned to ignore him. Like a persistent STD, he just refuses to go away.

  15. Fuck the commenter above me with a fist. Michael, here's the diffy...those mean stereotypes about gays...well, they're false. Those mean stereotypes about nascar fans beating up their womens and having room temperature IQ's? Well...they're true.

    Talledega Nights wasn't a spoof.

  16. The UK's Tory's SAY they want to give gays extra rights. That's different to actually wanting too. They're going all out to get the pink vote but their track record goes against them. Remember, they're actually called the Conservative Party, and that's entirely appropriate.
