  1. Maybe it's just me ... but I find this "homosexual couple" Tulum hotel story really icky.

  2. Anderson Cooper looks incredibly nerdy in those glasses and yet it's oddly attractive.

  3. That Obama is struggling with equal rights but has no problem with a dog torturing football player tells me everything I need to know about him for the next election.

  4. I find nothing attractive about Cooper's glasses, odd or not! And I usually have a very hard time finding anything wrong with him.

  5. Yeeeah, those glasses make Anderson look like Drew Carey.

  6. It's one year since Tiwonge Chimbalanga and her former partner were arrested in Malawi and she is still under severe and very real threat.

I am updating on this story here

  8. Someone needs to tell this new "homosexual" resort in Tulum that there are "homosexual" women couples and that this resort is DOA if they are going to discriminate against gay women couples.

    Go, Vinny!

  9. Anderson looks adorably nerdy with the glasses!

And re the OWN talk show ideas: the U.S. already has a gay best friend- Canada ;^)

  10. @Lee, I agree.

I think part of what makes Anderson sexy is precisely because he is a huge dork.

  11. The iconic poster in Towleroad by J. Howard Miller featuring the likeness of the future Mrs. Doyle was certainly the most famous of the Rosie-the-riveter, Wendy-the-welder genre, but it was NOT an illustration of Rosie the Riveter. THAT depiction (also very well known) was done by Norman Rockwell for the Saturday Evening Post; the two are often confused. Anyone who wants to see both pictures can click on my name, which I've linked to the blog entry I made on this topic.
