Married NY GOP Congressman Christopher Lee Caught on Craigslist

Gawker reports that Rep. Christopher Lee (R-NY) has been busy sending shirtless photos to women on Craigslist:

"Rep. Christopher Lee is a married Republican congressman serving the 26th District of New York. But when he trolls Craigslist's 'Women Seeking Men' forum, he's Christopher Lee, 'divorced' 'lobbyist' and 'fit fun classy guy.' One object of his flirtation told us her story."

While Lee has no recorded vote on marriage equality (if anyone knows his position on 'the sanctity of marriage' please fill us in) he was a "no" vote on repealing 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'.

  1. An anti-gay republican congressman soliciting extramarital relations with a woman? Now THAT is shocking!

  3. Nice enough bod, but what a scumbag.

  4. Believe it or not, I'm not disturbed that he's lying about his marriage, but rather he would put 'lobbyist' as a list of attractive qualities.

  5. GET HER!

  6. A Republican cheating on his wife? Not shocked.

A middle-aged white man from the northeast who's not obese, works out, and obviously watches what he eats? Total shocker.

    Who says irony is dead?

  7. How could he be so naive to think that these pics and the craigslist profile wouldn't come to light especially when he uses his REAL NAME!?

    Nice upper body though.

  9. The only shocking thing about this story is the he was trolling the women seeking men section. I thought republicans exclusively used the men seeking men section of craigslist.

  10. I'd hit it.

  11. It would be so much better if he was on the Men Seeking Men list. He's not half bad looking. One of the older men I would definitely consider.

  12. Why get married?

  13. The same people who condemn us do this? Hypocrites.

  14. Dude's in excellent shape. Too bad more guys his age aren't. Looks like he even trims his chest hair.

  15. So, who are you going to believe, a good upstanding white Christian family man and a U.S. Congressman or your lying eyes?

  16. David really ?

Muscle do not make evil people attractive - at least to people with souls.

(Thus my lack of interest in most gay men at circuit parties.)

  17. I am equally impressed by his physique. Keep in mind that in DC, mistresses are a status symbol, so the scandal here is that he was so desperate as to use Craigslist. Otherwise, if he didn't have one he wouldn't be able to show his face in the house gym locker room.

  18. Wasn't he in all of those Dracula movies years ago?

  19. I am disturbed that( presumably) gay men on here, who presumably have ourselves been attacked for our sexuality at some point in our lives, are so eager to attack and pillory this guy for extramarital flirtation. Big deal! Maybe his wife even knows and/or doesn't care. What a narrow Victorian/Christian sexual ideology we are attacking him for not conforming to. Does demanding conformity to that ideology really serve our interests as a persecuted sexual minority?

  20. Heads up girls, Repealing means to revoke or rescind, especially by an official or formal act. So you really don't want to repeal don't ask don't tell, because that puts you back to where you were before it was enacted, the law needs to be amended.

  21. Sumpin' fishy here, I am not buying it. Conservative seeking hetero sex?

  22. Sure he is in good shape but that photo is also creepy as hell.

  24. @Hank,

Or maybe they are attacking his hypocrisy.

  25. Republican, yes. But we don't know much about his stance on gay matters. His website seems pretty innocuous.
