Watch: Jon Stewart Knows Where the Bronx Zoo Cobra Is
Those of you in the NYC area are aware of the biggest local news story right now — the escape from the Bronx Zoo of a deadly Egyptian cobra, whose venom can quickly cause respiratory failure.
Zoo officials believe the snake is still within the reptile house, though it could be weeks before it is found.
Jon Stewart has a few ideas, however.

Yawn. Come to Australia where pretty much every snake that crawls into your backyard is more venomous than a cobra.

Whenever you post a story about Jon Stewart, you should always, always post a picture of his handsome face to go along with it. Posting a picture of a snake just isn't going to cut it.

Micheal unfortunately knows nothing about snakes and is an Australian homer.. Australias venomous snakes have got to be the MOST overrated animals in the entire animal kingdom... They are so overrated it's not even funny.. The most venomous snakes are from Asia and no Micheal a cobra would be MUCH more venomous than those overrated Australian snakes that go into your back yard..
Australia has 6 of the top 10 most drop for drop venomous to MICE... I would think it would probably only have maybe 1 or 2 of the top 10 most drop for drop venomous to humans and thats being generous... Than lets not even mention that Australian snakes usually have tiny fangs and small venom yields...and most aren't aggressive..
Micheal your lucky you have such relatively harmless snakes in your back yard... If you over-dramatic exaggerating Aussies had real deadly snakes in your backyard than you would have a right to complain...but you don't so be quiet...A cobra is MUCH more venomous than the stupid overrated eastern brown or tiger snake...

In reality the opposite of Micheal's comment should apply... People in India would laugh at a brown snake or a tiger snake.. As they actullay have to deal with highly dangerous and venomous snakes on a daily basis( like the Krait, Russell's Viper, and Cobra). It would be a joke to them compared to the true most dangerous snakes that they have...

And its not just the Australian snakes that are extremely overrated.. Their Jellyfish( especially the box jellyfish) and spiders are very overrated aswell..Their are about 20 venomous snakes in Southern Asia that are more venomous than the Box Jellyfish and will mess you up more.. And probably 15( give or take) snakes in Southern Asia that are more venomous than the funnel webs.
Australian animals are incredibly overrated. Once you actullay research the top and read studies on bites/stings from venomous animals it becomes quite obvious that Asian animals are by far the most venomous animals in the world and that Australian animals don't deserve 1/5th of the hype that they get from ignorant people like Michael.
