Sarah Palin Won't Seek GOP Nomination for President
Sarah Palin is not going to run for President, she told supporters in a statement this evening.
After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order.
My decision is based upon a review of what common sense Conservatives and Independents have accomplished, especially over the last year. I believe that at this time I can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other true public servants to office – from the nation’s governors to Congressional seats and the Presidency. We need to continue to actively and aggressively help those who will stop the “fundamental transformation” of our nation and instead seek the restoration of our greatness, our goodness and our constitutional republic based on the rule of law.
From the bottom of my heart I thank those who have supported me and defended my record throughout the years, and encouraged me to run for President. Know that by working together we can bring this country back – and as I’ve always said, one doesn’t need a title to help do it.

Thank the lord! I'll have to send him a muffin basket.
Now how do we get rid of the other clown, called Bachmann?

She's not going to give up making more millions, when that was the entire reason she left politics in the first place? Color me shocked.
But why the "much prayer"? Is her god too busy to return her calls promptly? Was he just undecided? Or was he waiting to see how Mitt Romney was doing in the polls?
If your god won't give you a straight answer right away, I'd say it's time to get a new god.

NONE of these republicans want to be the president (except perhaps Romney)...they are all shooting to be VP, with Jesus as president.

If only this would mean that I didn't have to see or hear her or any of her hangers-on (sorry, Levi -- that means you, too) ever again. If only. . .

The White House is the last place this woman needed to be anyhow. She can get back to selling and marketing herself to anyone who will listen and look. So do all the people who donated their hard-earned money to her PAC get a refund from sending her on her cross-country escapades to sell books? At least the race will have some semblance of politics and not reality TV with her absence. Get a sneak peek at her next big venture as she keeps her strip tease going at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/06/ecstasy-of-sarah-palin_15.html

Thank god. All our prayers have been answered. Those who are true nurturers must run for public office. Those who are not must run for the hills and hide out until things change for the better. No more grifters.

No one here actually thought she was running right?
Her plan was always to hold out to the last possible minute (filing deadlines are this month) so that she could continue the media speculation. It's all publicity and money. Growing the Palin "brand".

Brian In Texas: I agree. I also think her shelf life has expired. She's in the news leass and less these days. Hopefully, her ship has sunk.

Excuse me! Everyone? May I have your attention please? I just want to announce that I DO NOT have to go to the bathroom right now! Thank you! You may all now go back to your regularly scheduled lives. -_-

Did God tell her, "Frankly, you absolutely should not run because you are simply too stupid"?
Sarah: Don't discount the notion of doing porn. It'll be good money, particularly after the speaking and media gigs dry up, as they probably will very soon.
I look forward to hearing less and less about her antics. Unless she does porn.

Mission Accomplished. Good Job Mr. Joe McGinness! His book helped exposed Sarah Palin's hypocrisy even more!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2037211/Sarah-Palin-took-cocaine-affairs-Glen-Rice-husbands-business-partner.html
"Sarah Palin snorted cocaine off a 55 gallon oil drum while snowmobiling with friends and had illicit affairs with a top NBA star and one of her husband's business partners, a new book sensationally claims.
In revelations which could strike a devastating blow to the controversial politician's hopes of joining the 2012 presidential race, Mrs Palin is said to have taken the class A drug with her husband, while smoking marijuana at college in secret liaisons with one of her professors.
Joe McGinniss's book The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin, which is due to be published on September 20, also alleges that the former governor of Alaska is far from the traditional family woman she claims to be.
Mrs Palin, 47, had a one-night stand with Miami Heat basketball star Glen Rice less than a year before she eloped with her husband, the book claims."

see at least there was some positive news today. fox will now spend 5 hours of programing to explain how poor sarah was chased from the race by the gay agenda. she knew she and turd couldn't live on the president's salary.

From the great comedian Dana Gould via Twitter:
Palin Not Running. In a related story, a person no one likes announced they didn't want a job they couldn't do and wouldn't get.
Posted by: princely54 | Oct 5, 2011 8:19:57 PM
A title? Deary, you wouldn't have been running for Miss America, although with that you'd have a much better chance.
Posted by: tc in nyc | Oct 5, 2011 8:44:24 PM
so why is she still on television then if she isn't in the running for presidential position. isn't her story done by now seems she being TV just to make money on reality shows or on the news.
Posted by: albertam | Oct 5, 2011 9:20:57 PM
Sorry, but I have never trusted a thing this woman said, and I don't trust this.
Posted by: jim | Oct 5, 2011 9:22:22 PM
I suppose it had nothing to do with the fact that she didn't stand a snowball's chance...
Posted by: Brian | Oct 5, 2011 10:13:58 PM
If only she would disappear for good.
Posted by: Mizzy | Oct 5, 2011 11:08:11 PM
Why can't she do the decent thing like Monica Lewinsky and move to France and open a purse store.
Posted by: BobN | Oct 6, 2011 12:46:25 AM
Who? (and I don't mean this about Lewinsky in the previous comment).
Posted by: Steve | Oct 6, 2011 5:33:12 AM
Well, I'm sure the late night comics are going to be upset... she made millions of dollars for them. Well, now they will have to go after the newer batch of loonies.

"aggressively help those who will stop the “fundamental transformation” of our nation and instead seek the restoration of our greatness"
What? She's becoming a Democrat?
