Tom Goss Sings 'It's All Over': VIDEO

Goss

You may remember gay singer-songwriter Tom Goss' video "Lover" about a soldier discharged under 'DADT' which I posted last November. Here's Tom's latest, "It's All Over":

Shot in mid-August in DC, the video shoot survived high heat and humidity, rain storms, power outages and even an earthquake. But you would never know. "Everyone stayed focused on having a good time. That's what I love most about this video. You can really see the joy in everyone's faces... Because the weather refused to cooperate, many of the shots were single takes, we had 30 seconds to get it right. In the past I think that would have stressed folks out but this time around it didn't. We knew we were making something fun and light and as a result approached it in the same manner. Hopefully people watching the video can see that and feed off that. In the end, we just want to make people smile."

Watch, AFTER THE JUMP...

  1. Is anyone else here living in DC? In the video he starts out walking down Connecticut towards Dupont, but where was that park they were frolicking around in? It looked Capital Hill-ish but I'm not familiar with it.

  2. Just imagine being the center, the leader, the instigator of this joy. How many could imagine it, further it, do it and bring along with him so many others? It's not only good music and fun but leadership as well. Tom Goss. Remember the name.

  3. I'm in DC and couldn't tell either. You were right about Connecticut leading towards Dupont but it looks like they may have gone too Logan Circle?

  4. Normally I wouldn't post a comment, but just to answer your question, we filmed scenes on and around Connecticut, at a private residence (for the party) and at Grant Circle (for the park scene). It was ideal for shooting as not too many people go to that circle and we could block it off.

  5. The Grant Circle location was fantastic. It is this huge park with wide open green spaces, plenty of benches and a massive tree right in the center providing plenty of shade (and cover from the rain, in our case). If you haven't trekked that far north yet you should check it out.
