Panel Advances Maryland Marriage Equality Bill to Senate Floor


In a 7-4 vote, the Judicial Proceedings Committee has advanced Maryland's marriage equality bill to a full vote on the Senate floor. The bill passed the House on Friday in a tight 71-67 vote.

That vote could come later this week.

  1. Good luck, Maryland, but those referenda obsessed right wing bigots will make sure it never becomes enacted, just as they did in NJ and probably will in Washington state. For now, they're winning.
