I know I shouldn't be bothered by it, but these world records that involve devouring food when there are people starving really get to me. And these people at SXSW are a lot of the same people who supported Occupy Wall Street and yet don't get the irony that they are standing around watching North American indulgence at its worst. I will now go and enjoy the sunset, hug my boyfriend and thank my lucky stars that I am alive.

the jane lynch interview with archconservative/republican hack was truly a waste.
so many important questions could have been asked by an open lesbian (like the status of her own marriage under a republican administration).
