Rush Limbaugh: Obama Might Have Manipulated Hurricane Data to Ruin GOP Convention

Rush Limbaugh is "not alleging conspiracies" but notes that the National Hurricane Center is under the auspices of the Commerce Department, and just might have plotted the hurricane's path in order to influence decision-making by the Republican Party regarding this week's convention, Think Progress reports.

LimbaughSaid Limbaugh:

“And I noticed that the hurricane center’s track is — and I’m not alleging conspiracies here. The hurricane center is the regime; the hurricane center is the Commerce Department...It’s the government. It’s Obama....

...Okay, 6:45 p.m. Saturday night the Republicans announce that they’re canceling Monday. At 6:45 p.m. Saturday night, everybody is still under the impression that Isaac is making a beeline for very close to Tampa. It was an hour and 15 minutes later that the eight p.m. model runs showed New Orleans. I’m alleging no conspiracy. I’m just telling you, folks, when you put this all together in this timeline, I’m telling you, it’s unbelievable."

  1. Lets see ... Obama plotted the hurricane path, and the religious right ministers at the convention prayed the path in a different direction.

Limbaugh needs to be in recovery.

  3. What's unbelievable is just how stupid Rush Limbaugh really is. Or maybe it's just that he knows his audience and knows how stupid they are? They probably believe him.

It's the latter. Rush is conservative, but it's long been clear he doesn't believe a tenth of what comes out his mouth. He knows his audience though, and he knows they will lap up almost everything he says.

  10. Did he not get the memo that some pastor's church prayed the hurricane away? But she is probably actually a secret Muslim like Obama and is just doing the President's bidding.

  11. Late last week that hillbilly-heroine-addicted Caribbean-[underage]-sex tourist floated the idea that Obama was going to "steer" the hurricane into Tampa. I guess that didn't get any traction over the weekend, so he's backed-down to just "Obama manipulated the data".

  13. Rush Limaugh, the only guy in America who emits more wind than an actual hurricane! Seriously, is he saying the people who work at the Hurricane Center would be in on a conspiracy JUST to disrupt a freakin convention? That is an insult to the men and women who try to predict (it is not an exact science) where a hurricane may go to PROTECT AMERICANS. This is people's lives we are talking about, so you are going to cast doubt on this agency just so you can score points with the GOP'ers? What a disgrace!

Maybe Rush was in cohoots with the people who prayed away the hurricane knowing everything would be ok and is saying this knowing full well Tampa was never in danger. I'm not alleging conspiracies here am I? Idiot.

  18. I won't believe it until Missy Glenna Beck weighs in, with charts linking the storm to the Bilderbergers and the Illuminati.

  25. Yes, the hurricane path data was manipulated, but it was done so that the Republican committee could dissuade Trump from speaking in Tampa. We'll see if it worked.

Republicans in charge of the Air Force had many fighter jets go up and fly around in circles to get the hurricane started. When Leon Pannetta found out he cancelled the flights and that's why we have only a tropical storm, so far. Are you still with me on this? Then.....
