    No it doesn’t. Maybe they don’t get the 17+ footers seen occasionally off the Calif coast. I would think a “massive” Great White would have to be over 20 feet long and weigh 4000 lbs.

    The Massachusetts and Rhode Island coast are very irregular, with many inlets and bays [Massachusetts is called the the ‘Bay State’, some call it the Gay State]. Sharks are looking for food [mostly seals, and there’s a huge number of seals right now here in New England] and they come into these bays and inlets trolling for them. Sharks and other sea creatures get confused, and often get beached when the tides change.
