  1. What torture. You couldn't get me there with a gun to my head. Wait...."air-conditioned"?!, not even for air-conditioning.

  6. O'Reilly attempts to shout down everyone; what's the point.

I like Stewart, he did a good job when he was on O'Reilly's program... but still, even as his guest, O'Reilly didn't let him finish a sentence.

Ack. Why would you pay for that?!

  7. When Stewart didn't have the wherewithal to challenge David Barton's blatantly lie-filled book on Jefferson, I lost respect and confidence.

  8. I hope Jon Stewart does his homework for this. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy. But I've gotten the impression many times that he's so sure he knows his stuff that he doesn't prepare enough and he lets Right Wing guests get away with too much because he doesn't have the information at his fingertips.

And that "rally" of his was complete BS. First off it made the false equivalency that both sides were "just as bad" when the Right was spreading their Birther, secret Muslim, racist, "death-panel" nonsense. There was NO comparable rhetoric from the left but Stewart pretended they were the same. It was nothing but Stewart masturbating his ego when it truly COULD have rallied Progressives to combat the paranoid fantasy rants of the Far Right, Tea Party, and Evangelicals. Instead it was a complete waste of time and money.

  9. Stewart gets on O'Reilley's show and just when an important point is about to get across, Stewart always makes a joke about it and ends up missing the point that he was so close to making and then the subject gets changed. Stewart also has the bad habit of asking 5 questions all at once, answering all of them and then berating his opponent for those answers before his opponent even has a chance to speak. If Stewart would drop these bad habits, he might really be the one to take these guys to task.

Personally, I'd rather see O'Reilley (Papa Bear) and Stephen Colbert. Colbert has this perfect way about him by pretending to say things Republicans would say and just letting them see what they look like when they say stupid things. It's the perfect condescending way he does it.

  10. What is wrong with unregulated capitalism? O'Rielly and Stewart make $36,000,000.00 a year between then. Judge Judy makes $45,000,000.00 a year . Hundreds of pro athletes make tens of millions a year to play childrens games. And the average consumer who earns less than fifty thousand a year pay more than necessary for all the consumer products he buys to pay the excessive salaries of these elitist.
