Gay New York Rapper Le1f is the Fizz That Refreshes: VIDEO

Back in July, I posted a track called "Wut" from NYC rapper Le1f that many of you loved. His new track and video "Soda", produced with his collaborator Boody, is just as compelling musically and visually. Directed by Sam Jones.

Check it out, AFTER THE JUMP...

  2. The thing about stereotypes, Jason, is that they do accurately describe some people.

We should not be "thankful" that this or that percentage of gay men do or don't match a particular stereotype. This movement chose the rainbow flag in part because it represents this idea that we are diverse, not identical.

    We are who we are.

I don't see anything horrific about the video at all. I liked it.
I am slightly disappointed I wasn't horrified. Music videos should be just a little horrifying.

  5. At first, the profane, corporate "baptism"/facial seemed to try to hard. Then it grew on me. Or it wore me down. People- this is what music is going to sound like for the next 10 years. He is kind of a prophet. I'm not sure I like it, but it is brilliant.
