  1. OJ Simpson gay? Not really plausible except that he's in prison, so it's a go-with-the-flow situation.

  2. Adele really does look like she's laying into Chris Brown in that pic. He looks VERY defensive.

Brian Brown Tweeted #itgetsbetter for young homophobes? I hope Dan Savage weighs in because he's not big on turning the other cheeks and when he does for revenge he thinks BIG.

I won't believe OJ Simpson *really* loves men until he kills one out of jealousy! [/sarcasm]

  3. There were lots of other stories you could have gone with today, and you chose the OJ story from the National Enquirer. Just sayin'.

  4. Brian Brown has eight children. The chances of them all being heterosexual are so slim as to be nonexistent.

What do we predict? A gay-bullying kid of his getting busted giving reacharounds one day? A bright young star who flees the family, goes to a school out of State and defies their bigoted fathers words? Or one more case of a kid who took all their abandoned hopes and dreams and tied them to a noose?

  5. Oh Eric--why do you have to whine all the time?

  6. The straights can keep OJ on there team...and this week's male model actually looks like a man with some beef on his bones... and yeah enough with the fat bullying.

  7. I've had eating disorders my entire life and certainly don't endorse bullying of any sort, but Mixner's article is a bit absurd. The US obviously has a huge obesity problem.

Should you be teased for it? Of course not. Should you do something about it? Of course.

  8. Note to all Turks who want to avoid military service; just "come out" as gay! They automatically don't want gays, so even straights can avoid military service if they want. How long til the policy changes when more and more straight Turks figure this out? WTG Turkey! Your leaders are idiots!

  9. I hear ya, Paul R.

fat-shaming is bad and body-fascism is a legit problem.

as is the absolute obesity epidemic.

focus on health over aesthetics, perhaps is the route? either way, i'm really sick of hearing, literally hearing, parents tell their kids that "our family is just bigger"

no. you're not. you just have horrible eating habits that you're passing down. don't pass this off as Genes or Glands.

What, do they not have GLANDS in Ethiopia???

  10. Wow, Kiwi, you and I are on the same page? Weird! My ridgeback still wants to meet your doggie!

  11. well, the obesity epidemic should trouble everyone.

while some folks manage to distract millions into thinking that The Enemy is either Brown Foreigners or Gays, we have millions dying from unhealthy eating habits and guns.

when i was a kid (wow. love that i say that now) there were maybe 2 or 3 "fat" kids in the entire school. nowadays? you're looking at multiple overweight kids in each class.

and it gets politicized! FLOTUS extraordinaire is working to get kids to be active and for healthier meals offered in schools, and then the Palins of the world spin it into "Oh, yeah, that Michelle Obama thinks she can raise her kids better than you can!"

well you know what? she could. and her drive to make kids healthier should make people happy, not angry at, uh, "liberalism", or something.

it's faster (and cheaper) to get two burgers at mcdonald's than a fast and cheap salad or healthy sandwich.

and schools, of all places, should have the most nutritious meals possible. there's no excuse.

  12. @Dagoril: Some US citizens used precisely that approach to avoid Vietnam. They decided that the stigma was worth it. However, I cannot see any Turk believing the same thing.

BTW - The first openly gay military man in the US tried to avoid service by saying he was gay. He was forced to serve anyway. When he tried to reup, the government said no, but the courts overruled because the government had already accepted him as openly gay.

  15. Come to think of it, Oj did have a blonde twink named kato living out back in the pool house. Maybe kato WAS just more then the household drug procurer. Lets ask Krissy Kartrashian - she'll know!
