The Terminator. It's happening.

This reminds me of a SciFi story where the military uses robotic pack animals to carry their gear. Won't be long now.

When will we be seeing them in the Olympics ;-)

Can it hit a target or does it just throw in a certain direction?

Only when it needs to pee would it throw the cinder block backward? Beware dog owners!!

Nice. What would this be useful for? Loading/unloading? In factories?
Big Dog is cool but still makes way too much noise. And he does the same thing a donkey can do.

Or I suppose it's just an example of it's dexterity.

I'm confused why this is frightening. Because it's doing it with its teeth? It's a machine. Its teeth are made out of metal. I feel like there are a lot of ways in which a machine could do the exact same thing, which would seem less impressive to you. But what's impressive about doing the exact same thing as another machine?

If it were a catapult, for example, that could only throw something that light that far, you would not be impressed.

Wow!! With funding from the Army Research Lab even! A new generation of war machines is definitely coming. We certainly are live in the Cyberpunk age.

"All of this has happened before and will happen again."
I for one welcome our future Cylon masters.

There is something really disturbing about that machine...

Seriously GGGB? How many machines with strong metal teeth do you know of that can chase you down across hilly terrain?
