  1. At some point, throwing men out of bars for kissing has got to be something you can no longer apologize for. That place should be shut down.

  2. It's "DING Dong the Witch is Dead," not "Dong Dong the Witch is Dead."

  3. Why did an A380 article from 2009 make today's news? That's awfully random.

  4. Did you call the "witch is dead" celebrations at Mrs. Thatcher's death hateful? You did not. Did you therefore lose the power and the right to call celebrations at the death of left-wing figures hateful? Yes, you sure did. Hackery, Towleroad -- shameless hackery, and the loss evermore of any position of moral superiority. Shame.

  5. Randy, why should the bar be shut down, when this was a case of a homophobic bouncer? The owner apologized, and made sure this behavior would not be tolerated. I've been at this bar many times, and it's got a very open-minded atmosphere, like most places in Copenhagen, BTW. If this was the bar's official policy, it would be shut down, or fined at least. However, it is not.

  6. A lot of straight bars are afraid of male homosexual interactions. These bars are designed to cater to sleazy straight guys and their bisexual female enablers.

Nevertheless, gay men do not help things by promoting a segregationist social culture via the 'gay' scene.

  7. A pointless and rather recreant activity, celebrating Thatcher's death. But holding aces for the songwriter, I suppose.

  10. Hopefully scotus will rule that gay couples not only have the right to spousal social security benefits, but that we also will not be taxed on the "imputed income" of spousal health insurance each and every year. We've paid $24,000 since 2006.
