  3. I really wish that people who know nothing about football--or about sports in general--or about the NFL and salary caps, in particular--would stop jumping to the conclusion that Kluwe and Abajadeyo were both released by their teams because they advocated gay marriage.

    It is not at all clear that that is the case, given their ages, their productivity on the field, their salaries, and lots of other factors that have nothing to do with their activism.

    It MAY have played a role in their release or it may very well not have....and you do just as much harm as good if you point fingers without having all the facts.
