  1. Fortunately the folks at Westboro Baptist Church are to dumb to know it, but they bring more people to support LGBT equality than just about any pro LGBT Rights group in the country. Phelps family, we thank you for your outrageous bigotry.

  4. Protesting the WBC is about as courageous as publicly disapproving of Hitler.

These people could do more good organizing their sock drawers.

  5. @Bryan: "Protesting the WBC is about as courageous as publicly disapproving of Hitler."

It may be a trivial job, but someone really should do it. Those creatures are vile.

  6. Bryan, at least they're doing SOMETHING instead of whining in the Towleroad comments section. What protests have you done lately?

  7. Thousands of people in Bozeman, Montana (population: 39,000) counter-protested WBC. Just thinking about that makes me smile. :)

  8. That's the thing about the WBC. Ellen Degeneres, Neil Patrick Harris, and Adam Lambert could show up in Bozeman and STILL not unify a crowd the same way the WBC does, bring people together to protest against anti-gay hate.

  9. The whole reason for their protesting is for attention. That's all. It's sad.
