Say Domo Arigato to The Robotboys: VIDEO

Robotboys

The Robotboys are burning up the internet with a video this week.

Watch, AFTER THE JUMP...

Mashable on their background:

The RobotBoys, whose human names are Nick Nitro and Jeppe Long, met in the Copenhagen breakdancing scene in 2004. They used their classic mime and physical comedy training to perform in everything from a hip-hop rendition of The Nutcracker to local dance battles, but they didn't hit the world stage until they won Denmark's Got Talent in 2008.

  1. Good, but not great. It didn't wow me, and that's what I would look for here.

  3. Oh look, the blue man group has a not so good clone of sorts.

  4. Shields and Yarnell did it better 40 years ago.

  6. Well now that Statler and Waldorf have spoken above everyone else doesn't need to judge for themselves.

  7. pfff, guys, why are so negative about EVERYTHING? Does it make you feel better?

I'm a professional dancer myself (although in a different style) and i can see the amount of work, the precision in the execution and the technical skills they have. And JOMICUR, yes Shields and Yarnell were very good, but the technique they used was totally different, why compare them?

  10. Pretty slick. Would like to see them incorporate more dubstep techno to their moves. Maybe some Airhead like Pyramid Lake?

  11. It was a great routine, one of their best--however, I agree with the prior poster, it lacked a certain wow factor. Someone that made their routine unique and not similar to most isolation routines.
