Avicii's 'Hey Brother' Gets an Eye-Popping Lyric Video: WATCH

What do popcorn, snowballs in the face, gymnastics powder, power-sanding, herding cattle, rain, the Arizona desert, basketball, airports, breaking pencils, rain, chocolate bars with almonds, and rain have in common?

This video, for one. It's the third single off Swedish DJ producer Avicii's album True.

  1. Sort of Paul Simon meets Marlboro ad against a backdrop of unconnected images that seem important...but probably aren't - or not.

  2. Life is too short.

  3. snooze-fest, I am rarely moved my high-res anything. Only people cubicle people who don't get their hands dirty would be moved by this. Go chop some wood and realize everyday events aren't meaningful.

  5. Tonez, non-cubicle people have an amazing ability to have parody fly over their heads and be sanctimonious about it. See ya in the salt mine!

  6. Basic spelling mistake. I think the lyric should be "if I lose it all" not "if I loose it all".

  7. I thought this album was terrible. The country vocals meets house beats is just an awful mess.

  8. Since this is a work of art, it's going to be confusing as hell. And then throw in a European sensibility and images of America (for a predominately American audience) and the confusion thickens. But the tune is fine alone, and the images are fine alone.

  9. Why is this news? This site is wasting my time...

  10. I enjoyed this video ALOT. And I don't need to justify my opinion to the uppity critics who need to relax and take a chill pill. Definitely NOT a waste of time for me. Bet I'm not the only one. Maybe the only one with a positive outlook who took a moment to post a comment.

  11. Nice tune, but the images don't say much to me.

This is the best album of all time.

  13. Um, I won't go nearly that far. But some of the country-meets-edm songs really work, i.e. Addicted To You.
