Benham Brothers: 'Satan Run' LGBT Movement Seeks to 'Rob, Kill, and Destroy' - VIDEO

Benham

Would-be HGTV hosts David and Jason Benham have been gearing up for their headline appearance at an anti-LGBT 'family' summit today by making the rounds on right-wing Christian radio programs sharing their thoughts gays - such as how the battle against LGBT rights is a really just a battle against a "parallel kingdom run by Satan." that seeks to "rob, kill, and destroy."

You know, the usual right-wing nuttery...

Speaking to The Family Leader's Tamara Scott, David Benham said the following:

"If my son throws food across the table and I say, 'Bailey, stop throwing food' and he says 'I'm sorry Dad, I'm just a food-thrower.' It's like no you're not, your behavior is not you. It doesn't define you. So its very important that we speak to the fact that homosexuality is a sin that can only be redeemed by God when we repent. But the idea of a 'homosexual agenda' that seeks to capture the nation and capture children's curriculum and capture television and entertainment and laws - that is an idea that is evil and wrong and needs to be dealt with."

Listen, AFTER THE JUMP...

The Family Leadership Summit - the annual summit of Iowa's leading anti-LGBT group The Family Leader led by Bob Vander Plaats takes place today in Ames, Iowa. Other guests include Sen. Ted Cruz (and his insane pastor father), failed Virginia gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, and many, many more..

Stay tuned today and tomorrow for more from the anti-gay extravaganza.

  1. who are they again? the new face of incestuous inbreeding?

    i can see it now...

"well, we got into home renovations when we got locked away alone together in an attic during adolescence.... there wasn't a lot to do, so we became very close. VERY close. blossoming together, like...flowers...in the attic.... we really got into flip-flopping. we LOVE to flip! and flop! houses"

  3. they make public statements like these, and then wonder what happened to their hgtv show? they really aren't that bright, are they - that, or there's simply too much " religious love" around for them to think clearly...

  4. What are they attending ?
A Satan Summit of the disturbed, the bewildered and the 'Duh, bro, how did we get to be experts on gays, again ?'

  5. I think reducing these people to the phrase "wing nuttery" reduces the destructive intentions of their actual agenda. And they do have an agenda. It's about turning America into the Christian (read: fundamentalist) nation they believe the founders wanted to create. And not taking them seriously can mean one day we will wake up and it will be closer to their vision than we would like. Have your fun but also pay very close attention. A lack of awareness can have a very bad outcome.

  6. Yes, David, but when you tell the same son to use his right hand to write with and he says, "Sorry, Dad, but I'm left-handed," while that doesn't define him entirely either, it's still a truth about him, and one that other people have no reason to notice until it manifests as visible behavior - bur that doesn't make left-handedness a behavior. It's a reality and an identity and a simple fact that show up in some ways as behavior.

But, chances are reasonably good you wouldn't try to rewrite the US Constitution to deny the fundamental rights of people who throw food, either.

  7. "A parallel kingdom run by Satan....."
-does he mean the GOP ?

I have listened to this vile verbiage of these fools on the clips above.
It's non stop learned script, mixed with some supernatural overlay which would blend in well with the 13th or 14th pre Reformation superstitions of Albigensians......who also believed in " a parallel kingdom".
These fools prattle on without having a clue.
As Kiwi says, I thought they were house renovators........when did they get degrees in Divinity ?

  8. Remember when they kept insisting that they loved everybody and weren't the gay-hating homophobes that people were making them out to be? Guess the decided to just drop that act altogether and go full crazy train.

  9. I am sure this helps their "careers". When your inside is full of hate, you don't look good outside.

  10. I only want these guys to succeed... Let them spread their word as far and wide as they may and further their careers using their talents and their ideas. But, I, for one, will relish their undoing... it is only a matter of time and scrutiny that they will be exposed for the jerks and sell-outs that they are. Give me a court side seat!

  11. These twin brothers take their religion WAY too seriously. If they're not careful, they're going to be thrown in the looney bin.

  12. Will SOMEBODY PLEASE rob, kill, and then destroy them! Put their mangled bodies in a large Baphomet Pentagram.

    Write "Self-fulfilling Prophesy" nearby...

These SICKOS think they're having - or they're encouraging others to have - a 'battle with Satan' by proxy. It's monstrous. They're saying you can defeat Satan by robbing, killing, and destroying equality for gays.

They're posturing themselves as martyrs ALREADY, and their flock is lapping it up. Somebody needs to dispatch them before they start assembling their anti-gay Christian army.

  13. more bible babble lunacy.

and the gentle "liberal" christers enable them.

their anti-gay version of the christian mythological world is just as vaid/invalid as the pro-gay version of the liberals.

there is no credible evidence for anything supernatural, much less for the barbaric, totalitarian god of the bible.

religion needs to be discouraged and discredited, even among the liberal christers.

"Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion."

  15. Lymis: Interestingly, my grandfather used to smack my dad and his one brother when they used their left hands at the dinner table. It *is* the sinister side of the body, after all....

All in all, I think HGTV is probably breathing a sigh of relief for dodging the Benham bullet (so to speak).

  18. When are the Christians who believe in love instead of hate, peace instead of violence, acceptance instead of intolerance going to speak out about this kind of insanity. The Benham idiots and all the participants of the so-called Family Leadership Summit are not battling a "parallel kingdom run by Satan"...they're actually enabling it.

  20. I think it is painfully obvious to them they are full of satanic sin themselves and are actively hiding their true evil sexual intentions. Self-loathing gays, that is.

  25. "So its very important that we speak to the fact that homosexuality is a sin that can only be redeemed by God when we repent."

It's sounds like he's talking from experience here. How else could he know that homosexuals can be redeemed by God if he himself hasn't been redeemed? --- Of course the fact that he's comparing throwing food to sexual orientation makes him truly one of the most stupid people in existence. But in the circles he runs in it's par for the course.
