Black Bear Stalks Two Joggers in Canada for Several Terrifying Minutes: VIDEO

Bruce Allan was running with a friend in Matcheetawin Trails, Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada when they came upon a Black Bear that proceeded to come after them for several intense, riveting minutes.

Though the general advice given to those who encounter a bear is to stand one's ground and to NEVER run or exhibit weak behavior, that advice (whether it was known to Allan or not) appeared to go out the window here. Of course, it's also much easier to judge someone else's reaction from the safety of a computer screen.

Thankfully, Allan was able to "resume workout" and return to his car. Next time (if there is one) we're assuming he'll remember to bring the Bear Spray.

Veet's 'Don't Risk Dudeness' Ads Border On Homo- And Transphobic: VIDEOS

Veet is advertising its hair-removal products with ads that implying that women turn into dudes if they go even one day without shaving their legs and armpits. The ads go a step further by suggesting that men are rightfully repulsed by such women, depicting them as a bearded, bearish dude with a lady's voice.

The not-so-subtle subtext is that if you don't conform to men's standards of beauty, you're a unattractive dude worthy of rejection from your boyfriend, taxi drivers, EMTs, manicurists, Veet and viewers at large. Furthermore, being attracted to any person with body hair makes you gay or a lover of mannish women.

Yes, the ads are meant to be lighthearted and funny, but the underlying sexism, homophobia and transphobia has not gone un-noticed by ad groups.

Check out the ads AFTER THE JUMP...

Artist Creates Font Based Entirely On His Own Beard

Are you into beards? Do guys with facial hair get you going? Then you're in luck, because now you can even type to your bearded-heart's content with a new font based entirely on one man's mustachioed look.

Gizmodo reports:

The brainchild of New York City-based designer Michael Allen, the Alphabeard has seen him carefully sculpt every character from his own facial hair. Bold and medium versions of the font were created at different stages of growth. Admittedly, not all the characters are super clear but, c'mon, it was carved out of hair.
