NASA TV's live view of the Space Shuttle Atlantis as it awaits take-off on the launch pad was interrupted yesterday by a spider making its way across the camera lens. This is kind of like those creepy ads on TV where they try to trick you into paying attention by making it look like a cockroach is running across the screen. Not for the arachnophobic.
NASA scrapped the Atlantis launch on Sunday, postponing it till January while they try to figure out the cause of a few malfunctioning sensors on the spacecraft.
