Vlogger Ariella Scarella's latest video Gay Virgins Til Marriage interviews two gay men who have made the decision to not have sex before marriage, reports Huffington Post.
The two men – Gilbert Gonzalez from California and Paul from Kansas City, Missouri, both of whom identify as Christian – open up on questions from Scarella's viewers: are they avoiding “slut shaming”? What if saving yourself “doesn't work out and you end of saving yourself for the wrong person”? and exactly why they've chosen this path.
Paul explains:
"I save sex for marriage because I believe it is much more than an act of pleasure. I believe sex is first and foremost a bonding mechanism, both physiologically and spiritually. So I find that the morality of sex is in the way we use or abuse that bonding mechanism."
