Rachel Maddow last night took a look at what happens if the GOP takes the Senate (and therefore control of Congress) today as many are expecting them to do. She notes that every two-term president in recent history in his sixth year has had to deal with a Congress led by the opposition.
Bills may just start getting passed:
"President Obama alone will be the counterweight to the all-Republican congress if the Republicans take the Senate…and that is going to be a lot of fun to cover."
Obama has so far vetoed two items during his presidency, but there may soon be a lot more.
FOX News and Republicans are already licking their lips about impeachment over Obama acting alone on immigration.
Head out and vote today, folks.
Watch, AFTER THE JUMP…
