Sam Smith Rumored to Sing Next James Bond Anthem

Sam Smith is reportedly set to croon the anthem for the next film in the 007 series, according to Page Six:

British “Stay With Me” singer Smith has been in talks with Bond producer Barbara Broccoli about singing the theme and is the clear winner, disappointing [Lana] Del Rey, who had lobbied hard.

While a rep for Del Rey didn’t respond, a rep for Smith said, “That is not confirmed.”

The film is scheduled for release in November 2015.
