One of the most frequently used anti-trans talking points is the argument that allowing transgender people to use restrooms aligning with their gender identities will somehow pave the way for cisgender straight men to freely enter women's bathrooms for insidious purposes. Yet despite these dire warnings of a Pandora's Box of sexual assault waiting to be opened, states that have enacted pro-trans bathroom proposals have faced zero cases of bathroom harassment as a result of these policies.
