Davey Wavey recently traveled to Montreal and asked some of the city's gay bears what being a bear means to them.
The majority of respondents said that identifying as a bear has a lot to do with a certain state of mind as well as being comfortable with your body. One interviewee said that for him, being a bear means “feeling sexy whatever your body type may be.” Another bear encouraged people not to fear the bears because, “We're all big teddy bears.”
