Actor Victor Garber (Power, The Flash, Alias, Titanic) eloped with his partner of 16 years Rainer Andreesen over the weekend in Canada.
Andreesen posted a photo of the two on his Instagram account (above) with the caption, “YES WE DID! #justgotmarried#elopedintofino #canada@therealvictorgarber #after16years.” We presume the couple said “I do” in Tofino, British Columbia if Andreesen's hashtags are any indicator.
Garber publicly came out and acknowledged Andreesen, his then partner of 13 years, back in 2013 in an interview with blogger Greg Hernandez, saying, “I don't really talk about it [my sexuality] but everybody knows.” He added of Andreesen, “He's going to be out here [in LA] with me for the SAG Awards.”
