Last night music’s mainstream stars gathered for the American Music Awards. Here are the show’s highlights which include a tribute to Paris by Celine Dion which brought people to tears, a duet featuring Demi Lovato and Alanis Morissette, Nick Jonas and Justin Bieber medleys, and a Pentatonix a cappella tribute to Star Wars.

Jennifer Lopez opened the show with a dance mash-up of 2015’s hits:

Celine Dion performed a moving tribute to the terror attacks in Paris:
