Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show over the weekend where Egerton was asked about rumors that he's on a final shortlist to play the young Han Solo in an upcoming Star Wars spinoff movie (the other rumored favorites were Alden Ehrenreich and Jack Reynor).

Egerton said that he had not received any phone calls yet but demonstrated that should he not make the cut for Han Solo he could certainly play a young Chewbacca.
