See the Historic Stiltsville
Seemingly hovering above the blue waters of Biscayne Bay, these levitating structures have a scandalous history. Erected offshore to skirt prohibition and gambling laws, the original Stiltsville shacks became exclusive social clubs. Although years of hurricanes, fires and damage cleared most of the original structures, seven remain under the care of the Stiltsville Trust and federal government as part of Biscayne National Park.
