The New York Times over the weekend published its complex Sunday crossword puzzle like it always does. But the reliably tough clues were not what caught people's attention. Instead, it was the pattern within the blackened squares that stirred up a frenzy on social media. The grid appears to form a swastika, and it was published right before the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah began at Sunday sundown.
