Charlie Crist Hasn't Found the Right 'One' Since His Divorce
Greg Mitchell offers a sneak peek into Deborah Solomon's NYT Sunday magazine interview with GOP VP hopeful Florida Governor Charlie Crist, whom many have claimed is gay and closeted. Mitchell notes that Solomon moves in the direction of addressing it, but stops short:

Solomon kicks it off by stating, "Your personal life is not that of a typical Republican candidate. For starters, I hear you're"-- [wait for it -- "not a property owner." Crist replies, "It is true. I do not own property."
Solomon then moves on to, "You were married nearly 30 years ago, but the marriage lasted less than a year. Do you prefer"-- wait for it -- "living alone?" Crist: "I got married and divorced because it didn't work out. I haven't found the right one since." Of course, the use of the word "one" will be parsed for days.
"You can't find one woman in all of Florida?" Solomon helpfully asks.
Crist: "Maybe I have. Stay tuned."

In late April, it was reported that GOP political strategist Roger Stone was peddling a 'Charlie Crist 'sex tape' with footage of him making out with a woman in an eleavator in an effort to kill the gay rumors. As of yet, that tape has not materialized.

Wouldn't it be lovely if McCain chose Crist-- after McCain's staff thought they had thoroughly checked all the rumors. Then, in October, some formerly gorgeous call-boy comes out with evidence that he was Crist's boy-toy, and that Crist used to dress up in drag with giant dildos stuck up his....
Oh, wouldn't it loverly (he said in his best Julie Andrews impersonation, or Audrey Hepburn...well, whoever it was that sang for the lovely Audrey).

He was married for less than a year nearly 30 years ago; AND he has yet to find the ONE... You do not have to be the sharpest tool in the shed to know he is good and gay. McCain is never going to choose him for VP, but I can dream!!!

P A T H E T I C. While his inability to admit who and what he is constitutes a personal sadness/defect, he better not sign onto the Repub homophobic agenda or he will be called out. The tricks exist, whether they will be called to serve depends on Crist's behaviour.

McCain will never select Crist. First, he's gay, and second, he's given the McCain camp some extremely bad information this week. He's the idiot that advised them that Florida would love to have their coast lines pumped for oil and gas. Turns out the voters don't feel that way and in the most recent polls the state is now leaning toward Obama by almost 12%... and Obama hasn't even campaigned there even a single day. Crist is over...

Liz, if Crist was an out gay man he would already be partnered or between partners.
If he is Bi, he is hooking up with other Bi guys who are all married to women, or he is going with rent boys who will keep his secret.
Noone will come forward because their wives will find out, or they will be outed as a hooker.
