  1. 'Hands on Originals' can pass on business. Pass on business with gay graphic designers, and more. I'm sure that there are enough used car dealers doing tshirts to keep them busy.

  2. "I won't miss kissing blokes" - sigh. I can't stand it when straight actors go out of their way to reiterate their straightness. We get it - you think kissing guys is gross and you don't want anyone to think you might have enjoyed it. Whatever.

  3. i was at the cinema last night and a young black man working the concession stand had the name "Trayvon Martin" under his own on his name tag.

i thought that was a lovely and simple gesture of not only solidarity, but promoting awareness of the shameful sociological reality of Trayvon's murder.

  5. I don't think there is too many real and good reasons to reject safe-sex ads and billboards. Why is it so difficult nowadays? To have protection and safely enjoy a company of another man?

  6. Billboards- owned and content controlled by Clear Channel- enough said.
Clear Channel is the Republitheocrats wholly owned subsidiary via their huge monopoly in radio and
advertising. Common sense and good reason -aren't on their radar.

  7. And this is why I feel gay characters should be played by gay actors. Because of the kind of immaturity brought by Danny Miller.

  8. I guess the Duke Lacross team player's parents could say "We have sons who look like Zimmerman in that they were convicted in the media without fair trial.". There's actually a ten thousand dollar bounty to kill him. As I heard this morning, for one group to solicit the murder of another US citizen in the media without retribution is unprescedented.

  9. Sarina, so just because Danny Miller made a dumb statement (since it was his kissing of blokes that got him a fanbase), you make a sweeping generalization. Do you also believe all straight characters should only be played by straight actors?

    Posted by: RJ | Mar 26, 2012 7:08:32 PM

  10. How come you never hear openly gay actors complaining about how awful it is to have to kiss members of the opposite sex?

    Posted by: BrianT | Mar 26, 2012 7:17:17 PM

  11. I've just vented. No, I don't think all gay parts should be played by gay actors, but it makes me fume when an actor like Danny Miller tramples on his gay fans with dumb remarks like that.
I'm not saying he should be into kissing men. I know he's straight, but it is a distateful remark, which lowers what he did on Emmerdale. I mean, if you don't want to kiss men, don't play gay. It's that easy.

  12. I guess the "AfterElton talks to Grindr founder Joel Simkhai" interview was so boring it didn't even need a link. Hahaha!

  13. In Re: Danny Miller: If I was an actor, I'd be thinking the same thing about kissing women for a role, I just wouldn't say it, no matter the intent, it can end up sounding bad and that is bad PR. You have to keep the market for your services as large as possible, so you always have to be "on" even if it's keeping things to yourself. I actually appreciate the honesty. How many actors and actresses would we like if we really knew how they were?

    Posted by: Redder | Mar 26, 2012 8:25:23 PM

  14. Miller gave an honest answer and wasn't disparaging in his remarks. I don't have a problem with what he said.

  15. As someone that doesn't watch the show, he kinda erased the little bit of plus he'd generated by playing the role. People that watch the show might have a different view.

  16. @littlekiwi,

Chicago had something like 30[!] shootings and 10 murders [including a little girl killed in a drive-by] over a 48hr period last week; wanna guess how many of those shootings involved young black males? wanna guess how many of the murder victims were black?

There is no white on black violent crime wave; there is a pernicious 40 year plus black male violent crime wave, and ironically most of it's victims are also black. Did the kid behind the counter ever think of adding say the name of the little girl killed in the Chicago drive-by? Is he outraged by the terrible violence in the black community, black on black, and black on non-black violence? Did he think of wearing the name of the white 'boy' in Kansas City who was set on fire in a racially motivated crime? Or the 3 white students at Mississippi State College recently killed in a racially motivated crime?

Why do some people have their knickers in a bunch over the harmless,off-handed comment this Brit actor made?

  17. ratbastard, thanks for proving once again exactly why your father was ashamed to have you for a son. truly. thanks. :D

remember when you pretended that your dad loved you and that your had "jock brothers" who supported you as a gay man, and how nobody in your family was anything less than wholly accepting of you as gay? yeah. i cracked up like crazy when i saw you type that. you could always make a video with your amazing family showing what incredible people they are, but i know you wont. because they hate you. and i don't mind that - racists like you deserve to die alone. which you wil. :)

    Posted by: LittleKiwi | Mar 26, 2012 10:08:31 PM

  18. btw, here we have it - NOM intentionally sought to divide the black and gay communities.

    Posted by: LittleKiwi | Mar 26, 2012 10:28:45 PM

  19. really? focus on an 18 yr old at the beach? Like we didnt have bodies like that in the day. Gross.

  20. Thanks for bringing this to our attention LittleKiwi. Every time Ratbastard or Tank or Markus or (obtuse)Jason/Rick decides to post "evidence" of black malfeasance on any post that references our fellow black citizens; regardless of whether those posts are negative or positive - link the NOM strategy:

  21. @little kiwi,

You have mental health issues, friend. And/or you're a paid shill, troll, or worse of all True Believer useful idiot.

    Posted by: ratbastard | Mar 27, 2012 6:11:41 AM

  22. prove me wrong "ratbastard" - your claimed life is a total lie. and when your bluff gets called you slink away. this is the reason you weren't respected as a gay man by your family or community - you're a wimp who shows he's not worth respecting.

but hey, prove me wrong. with proof. :D

every time you hate on blacks you honour NOM. keep it up, loser.
