  6. Technology has enabled cruelty that was possible before only by sociopaths. The number of people who can be convinced to kill someone using their bare hands is low, but increases as we move to knife to gun to fighter plane to drone. The difference is that the lack of sensory feedback makes it somehow unreal. The lack of feedback via social cues allowed by social media has effectively turned millions of people into sociopaths who wouldn't be if they delivered their message in person.
