Conspiracy theorist and InfoWars host Alex Jones, who has recently been banned by all major social networks for hate speech violations, taunted Senator Marco Rubio in a hallway outside the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, attempting to get Rubio to recognize his site InfoWars and lobbing schoolyard insults, including jibes about his sexual orientation.
At one point Jones told Rubio, “go back to your bathhouse,” referencing a 2016 story that alleged Rubio attended foam parties at gay nightclubs.
Though it doesn't occur in the clip below, according to Newsweek, ‘Jones called Rubio “gay” after the senator departed, and the Infowars host continued his live-stream commentary privately to the camera. As Rubio left and wrapped up his interviews with other reporters, Jones told the reporters crowded around, “You guys can talk to this clown.” At around 96 minutes into the live stream, Jones refers to Rubio's sexuality several times. “It's OK that Rubio's gay and he has to act tough,” he said.'
