I'd like to take a moment and wish everyone a happy and peaceful Independence Day weekend. I'm going to be taking my annual summer break this week, but the site will be in good hands. Our excellent weekend blogger Steve Pep will be here tomorrow and next weekend, and Matthew Rettenmund of Boy Culture, who has done an amazing job of filling this space before in my absence, is going to be here with the news and a few surprises during the week.
