A new web short from NYC trainer Joseph V. Lazo explores what happens when a bunch of gym bunnies overhear what sounds like an intimate affair between a trainer and client in the gym's sauna.
Lazo, a cast member on Bravo!'s show Work Out New York, plays a version of himself in the short titled Joe Knows Best. The video opens with Joe, down on his luck, with no clients scheduled and forced to help extricate one of his gym's clients who is trapped in the gym's sauna (apparently, it keeps happening). As Joe works with the trapped gym-goer (Joe pulls the door while the guy in the sauna pushes), other patrons in the gym start to overhear them and get a different impression of what's going on.
After saving the client's life, Joe increases his popularity with, as the video's YouTube post puts it, “a specific group of clients.”
