Adrian de Berardinis, or as you may know him, The Bear-Naked Chef, is back with another mouth-watering episode of his web series in which he shows you how to cook traditional Italian meals while wearing only an apron and some striped tube socks.
Previously, Berardinis showed us how to make a dreamy chicken cacciatore, and Paccheri Con Gamberi (tube pasta with shrimp), a dish inspired by his trip to the Amalfi coast. This week, Adrian is serving up a quick and easy pasta dish, Pappardelle Pasta with Bacon & Peas, inspired by one of his favorite restaurants, Bar Pitti in New York City.

When Adrian's web-series premiered, he told us:
“I'm at a juncture in my life where I am fearless about most everything. I am comfortable in my skin and it took me a long time to arrive at this place. My experience has brought me to this point of wanting to share who I am with the world, ‘exposed and un-cut' as well as my cooking. I have a voice that wants to be heard. My cooking is my art, and I want to share it in my own way, in my own language. Why naked? Cooking naked sets me free. When I cook I'm in my most primal state of mind so it made total sense to execute it in the buff.”
Of cooking in the buff he added:
“Challenges would be that you must be careful, obviously with not injuring yourself. Splattering oil can hurt like a bitch…But It forces me to take extra care with what I'm doing and not rush and to stay focused. The reward is that you feel free when doing it. You feel sexy and a little naughty.”
But when cooking nude, always remember to watch for splatter (especially when bacon's involved).
