Montel Williams joined FOX News anchor Megyn Kelly for a follow-up to her confrontational interview with North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory about the anti-LGBT law HB 2.
Williams didn’t hold back, explaining some of the lesser-known provisions of the law like the fact that it forbids people to sue for discrimination and it caps the minimum wage. He also pulls out some photos of transgender people for some show-and-tell, showing how ridiculous the basis of the “bathroom bill” is.
Finally, he excoriates the Republican proponents of the law:
“Both of these guys claim to be Christian moralists. What is the basic premise of every religion on this planet? You get judged by what you do for the least of us when you pass on. How DARE you try to judge them now on this planet and claim to be a Christian! You can’t have it both ways. You can’t.”
