Rapper Eminem is under fire for homophobic lyrics again after releasing a surprise album overnight titled Kamikaze. “Shady punches back, and he's naming names,” reads the description on Apple Music, and the LP is full of diss tracks.
Tried not 2 overthink this 1… enjoy. 🖕#KAMIKAZE Out Now – https://t.co/ANw73KbwMt pic.twitter.com/qfQoTYBTUy

One of those diss tracks, “Fall”, mentions Tyler the Creator, who has opened up (somewhat) in the past year, lyrically and otherwise, about his interest in men. At a recent show he changed the pronoun on his romantic track “Sometimes” from “you to “he”.
Eminem has been under fire for homophobic lyrics in the past, but that didn't stop him from rapping this line on “Fall”.
Tyler create nothing, I see why you called yourself a faggot, bitch
It's not just 'cause you lack attention
It's 'cause you worship D12's balls, you're sac-rilegious
If you're gonna critique me, you better at least be as good or better
Genius lyrics has this annotation, noting that Tyler tweeted in 2017 that Eminem's track “Walk on Water” was “horrible”:
Em responds by claiming that Tyler's supposed homosexuality was merely a ploy to drum up attention for the release of his album Flowerboy in 2017. Flowerboy might also be seen as a reference to Tyler's sexuality.
Ultimately though, Tyler is actually a homosexual Em claims, because he rides D12's dick. Tyler has openly spoken about his admiration for Eminem. As seen in the above tweet and on several other occasions, Tyler has also referred to Eminem as god.
Dick-riding someone so hard would make you “Sack-Religious.” Acting against god (Eminem) would make you ‘sacrilegious.'
Finally, the word ‘faggot” is censored, which makes it sound as if Em is saying “failure.” In fact, it's the other way around – Eminem says failure but he censors it in order to make it sound like he's saying faggot.
Twitter had this to say:
Can't even say I'm surprised that Eminem is still using homophobic slurs in 2018 bc he's a fucking child but Justin Vernon, what the hell are you doing on the track man. pic.twitter.com/z2ySJBNF85

big 2018 and eminem still dropping albums with homophobic slurs on his songs, can this old man just call it quits already

Eminem claims not to be homophobic but continues to use anti-gay slurs in his music… Just because you ‘have gay friends' doesn't mean you get a free pass to use derogatory insults at the expense of the LGBTQ community. Save your fragile masculinity for your therapist.

I mean, the line is cool cause he's like “Cause he's gay, he won't create a child” but, like, Tyler is literally gay, and doesn't say any of that anymore, so it feels more like Eminem calling him it. I'd never call Eminem homophobic, but yeah.

I'm really really wound up by the fact none of this Eminem coverage mentions the fact he's STILL using homophobic slurs in his music [censored, reversed whatever it's about INTENTION], with some headlines even MENTIONING TYLER but not the actual slur?

I just don't give a shit, don't be fucking homophobic, what the fuck's the matter with you? It says a lot that Tyler insulted Eminem's ART and OUTPUT – BECAUSE AS A FAN HE WAS DISAPPOINTED – and he just called him a faggot back.

If you still use that slur in a rap lyric, you're a homophobic ass and I don't fucks with you. Get your basic shit together, Eminem.
