Shirtless Violinist Matthew Olshefski took on Troye Sivan's bottoming anthem “Bloom” with help from pianist Johnny Walsh and dancer Derek Loerzel.
Wrote Olshefski: “Are you familiar with the openly gay singer, Troye Sivan? Well, if you're not right now, you soon will be. I believe Troye's career is beginning to sky-rocket and as a proud member of the LGBTQ community I think he is doing many wonderful things! His hit song “Bloom” is about a topic that is seldom discussed in pop songs…and, sadly, it's something I can't even write in this description without our video getting flagged! LGBTQ videos are routinely flagged by troll groups who seek anything containing specific words frequently used in our community (how crazy is that?!) If you're curious, you can always google it (and I recommend you do!)”

Of his collaborators, he added: “Some of you will recognize Johnny and Derek from previous collaborations. I am so honored to be able to work with such talented people, and it was so exciting for me to bring both of them together for this triple-threat collaboration! This time Johnny wasn't ‘phoning it in' – but actually flew all the way from New Jersey to Seattle to be on the set! How awesome is that? I knew he sounded great over my iPhone, but he was truly mesmerizing in person. Johnny has been playing the piano since the age of 4 and he is a gifted musician. I also want to thank Derek Loerzel for his beautiful dancing. There was so much more gorgeous footage that didn't make it into this final video – I am tempted to release an “all dancing” version of this song. He's just that good! Derek is a recent graduate of Western Washington University where he majored in Dance, and I am so grateful he is sharing his gift with the world.”
